Custom Matting
Custom matting is available for prints that don’t align cleanly with standard sizes or when a more refined presentation is desired. Each mat is cut to order and sized specifically for your print, allowing the full image to be preserved while fitting a standard frame.
A range of mat colors and proportions are available to complement your image and frame choice, creating a clean, balanced, gallery-ready finish.
Choose White or Black for the fastest turnaround. If you select “Other,” we’ll email you to discuss your preference.
This is the overall size of the mat and should match your frame size.
This is the size of the opening cut into the mat. The opening is typically slightly smaller than the printed image to allow for overlap.

- Choose your mat color and enter your outside dimensions (mat size) and opening size (image window).
- If you select “Other” for color, we’ll contact you with available options before cutting.
- Opening sizes are typically cut slightly smaller than the print to allow a small overlap.
- Since mats are cut to order, we can’t offer refunds once cutting has started. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, we’ll replace it.
